Ariane is Program Director for Employment and Earnings at the Institute for Women’s Policy Research in Washington DC and Scholar in Residence at American University; she has been at IWPR since 2008. Prior to moving to the United States, she worked for over a decade on human resource management at Cranfield School of Management, one of the preeminent business schools in the UK. She is German and has a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MPhil in Development Studies from the IDS, Sussex.
